Eligibility As Per Railway PLW Apprentice Vacancy 2025
Welder – Candidates who have passed Class 8th level of Examination & ITI Pass from a recognized NCVT / SCVT Institution will be eligible for this post.
Other Post – Candidates who have passed Class 10th / High School level of Examination along with minimum 50% marks from a recognized Board & ITI Pass from a recognized NCVT / SCVT Institution will be eligible for this post.

Age Limit As Per Railway PLW Apprentice Notification PDF
For Electrician, Mechanic (Diesel), Machinist, and Fitter Trades:
Minimum Age: 15 years
Maximum Age: 24 years
For Welder (Gas & Electrician) Trade:
Minimum Age: 15 years
Maximum Age: 22 years
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation
OBC candidates: 3 years relaxation
Age relaxation will be given only to those candidates who have valid caste certificate till the last date of application.
