About Of Seth Guru Prasad School
Recognizing the imperative need for quality education and driven by a commitment to social service, the late Shri Guru Prasad Agarwal—the then-President of the Sethani Putlibai Trust, Jhalsar—proposed the establishment of a school, providing the initial financial support to set the initiative in motion. Consequently, through the collective efforts of the late N.S. Kabra, the late Shri Radha Ballabh Agarwal, the late Shri Gyan Chand Maste, the late Shri Gauri Shankar Tiwari, the late Shri Narendra Jain, the late Shri Vitthal Rao Harne, the late Shri Champalal Bhardwaj, the late Shri Ramkishan Agarwal, the late Shri B.M. Agarwal, and the current President, Shri Chandrakant Agarwal, the “Sethani Putlibai Agarwal Shiksha Samiti” (Educational Society) was officially registered. In that very same year, the institution commenced its operations by opening classes for KG-1, KG-2, and the 1st grade within the premises of the Agarwal Dharamshala. Two years later, utilizing grants received by the Trust, a permanent infrastructure—comprising a school building, furniture, and other assets—was constructed on leased land located in the Jagdish Pura Ward. Over time, as the school continued to grow, it evolved into a secondary school. Through its continuous development and progress, it successfully secured a distinguished position not only among the schools of the town but also among the premier educational institutions of the entire district. Its achievements were duly lauded by the then-Education Minister, Shri Motilal Vora.
