Eligibility As Per UPPSC Vacancy 2026

Post Name	Eligibility Criteria
Medical Officer, Community Health	Candidates must possess a degree in Ayurveda or Unani Tib, be registered as a Vaidya or Hakeem with the Board of Indian Medicine (Uttar Pradesh), and have at least 6 months of professional experience.
Veterinary Officer	Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) degree and be registered with the Uttar Pradesh Veterinary Council.
Homoeopathic Medical Officer	Candidates must possess a degree in Homoeopathy (minimum 5 years) or a Diploma in Homoeopathy (minimum 4 years) and be registered with the Homoeopathic Medicine Board, Uttar Pradesh.
Swasthya Shiksha Adhikari	Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Sociology or in any Social Science subject such as Anthropology, Psychology, Geography, History, or Economics.
Chikitsa Adhikari (Ayurved)	Candidates must possess a degree or a 5-year diploma in Ayurveda, be registered as a Vaidya, and have at least 6 months of professional experience.
Dental Surgeon	Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) degree and be registered with the Uttar Pradesh Dental Council.
Inspector of Drugs	Candidates must possess a degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Medicine (with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology) along with 18 to 36 months of relevant experience.
Chikitsa Adhikari (Unani)	Candidates must possess a degree or a 5-year diploma in Unani Tib, be registered as a Hakeem, and have at least 6 months of professional experience.
Chikitsa Adhikari (Homoeopathic)	Candidates must possess a recognized degree or a 4-year diploma in Homoeopathy and be registered with the Homoeopathic Medicine Board, Uttar Pradesh.
Vetting Officer	Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce with at least 50% marks, along with a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. degree having a minimum of 50% marks.

Maximum Age: 40 years
Age Relaxation: Maximum age limit relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Skilled players of U.P./State Govt. Employees of U.P. (only domiciled persons of U.P.)
Ex-Servicemen: Upper age limit greater by 3 years + period of service rendered in army for emergency commissioned/short service commissioned officers/Ex-Army personnel of U.P.
PH Candidates: Relaxation of 15 years in upper age limit

Application Mode: Online application only through O.T.R. (One Time Registration) based system. Applications through any other medium will not be accepted

O.T.R. Mandatory: Candidates must obtain O.T.R. Number from https://otr.pariksha.nic.in at least 72 hours before submission of online application

Knowledge of Hindi: Essential for all posts

Domicile: Only domiciled persons of U.P. are entitled for reservation benefits

EWS Certificate: Valid for application year only; must be for previous year from application year with gross annual income from all sources

Caste Certificate: Must be issued by District Magistrate/Additional District Magistrate/City Magistrate/SDM/Tehsildar in prescribed format

Document Verification: Hard copy of online application with self-attested copies of all marksheets and certificates to be submitted when asked

No Change After Submission: Any request for change in qualification and category after receipt of application will not be entertained

Wrong Information: Candidates furnishing wrong information will be debarred from this selection and all future examinations up to maximum 5 years

Vacancy Numbers: May increase/decrease depending upon circumstances/requirements

Commission’s Decision Final: Decision of Commission regarding eligibility/candidature/selection shall be final

Anti-Malpractice: Provisions of Uttar Pradesh Examination (Prevention of unfair Means) Act-2024 dated 06 August 2024 will be applicable
