DTE MP Registration & Counselling 2025 – Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Madhya Pradesh Government has started filling the counselling forms for the year 2025-2026 for admission in technical courses in government, autonomous, grant-in-aid committee and private institutions located in Madhya Pradesh from 27 May 2025. Counselling forms will be filled through MP Online portal.

DTE MP BE Registration

The seats will be allotted based on the candidate’s choices filled during MP BE 2025 counselling registration, merit and availability of seats.
Candidates who will be allotted seats through MP BE admission 2025 will have to report to the allotted institute for document verification.
The documents will be verified only after the MP BE 2025 seat allotment is done.
Candidates will be able to check their MP BE 2025 seat allotment result by logging in to the counselling portal using their application number and date of birth.
The authority will also conduct a separate institute level MP BE counselling 2025.
During this counselling process candidates will have to register and report to the institute for counselling and seat allotment of MP BE 2025.

Process of DTE MP Registration 2025

The detailed process of MP BE 2025 counselling and seat allotment is explained below.

Step 1

Registration and Online Verification of Documents: All the eligible candidates who will be called to participate in the counselling will have to first register and get their required documents verified. Registration and Document Verification MP BE 2025 counselling will be done in online mode.

Candidates should note that slips will be generated for both those who register and get their documents verified in online mode. However, if candidates can only register themselves successfully but cannot get their documents verified, slips will be generated only for registration. Also, these candidates will have to visit the help centres to get their documents verified in person.

The following documents will be required for verification

Class 10 and 12 mark sheets.

MP Domicile Certificate (if applicable)
Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable)
Family Income Certificate (for TFW and OBC category candidates)
Aadhar Card.
Other required documents.

Step 2

Choice Filling and Fee Payment: Once the above step is successfully completed, candidates need to submit their choices of colleges and colleges as per their preference.
Candidates need to ensure that they lock their choices once they are done filling.
Once the choices are submitted, candidates need to make the requisite payment, a non-refundable MP BE 2025 counselling and partial tuition fee.
Fee payment can be made either in online mode (via Paytm, credit/debit card or net banking) or offline mode (via cash at help centres).

Step 3

MP BE Seat Allotment 2025

Based on the common merit list, availability of seats and choice filling, candidates will be allotted seats in MP BE 2025 participating institutes.

The officials will release the MP BE 2025 seat allotment result for both JEE Main 2025 qualified and qualifying exam based candidates from the official website or from the link provided in this article (the link will be updated once activated)

Candidates will be able to download their seat allotment letter after 2-3 days of the declaration of the seat allotment result.

To download their MP BE 2025 seat allotment letter, they need to log in to the counselling portal using their roll number/application number, date of birth, round number and password.

Step 4

Reporting at the allotted institute, document verification and admission – Candidates who will be offered seats will have to report at the allotted institute to verify their documents. Also, they have to pay the admission fee at the institute to confirm their MP BE 2025 admission.

What to do after MP BE / B.Tech 2025 seat allotment?

Once the candidate is allotted a seat, they will have the following options to choose from.

If they are not satisfied with the allotment they can choose one of the options given below.

Option 1

Upgrade Seat: If the candidates are not satisfied with the seat allotted to them, they can choose to upgrade it. However, this option can only be chosen by candidates who will apply based on JEE Main 2025 scores. Candidates applying based on qualifying exams will not be able to use this option.

Option 2

Internal Branch Sliding: Once the candidates are allotted a seat, they can opt for internal branch sliding in the same institute for vacant or dropout seats. However, candidates will have to pay a portal fee of Rs 100 for choosing this option.

If seats remain vacant, a special round of MP BE counselling and seat allotment 2025 will be conducted for admission to government, private, self-financed and government-funded institutes. The round will be conducted on the basis of JEE Main 2025 and Class XII merit. In case of vacant seats, a round of MP BE 2025 counselling and seat allotment will be conducted for private institutes only.
