Central Teaching Eligibility Test (CTET)

 

CTET Exam Pattern 2021

CTET दो चरणों में आयोजित किया जाएगा; कक्षा I-V के लिए पेपर- I और कक्षा VI-VIII के लिए पेपर- II।

• प्रत्येक पेपर में 150 MCQ होंगे।

• किसी भी गलत उत्तर के लिए कोई नकारात्मक अंकन नहीं होगा।

• पेपर-I के लिए, कठिनाई स्तर दूसरे चरण का होगा और पेपर-II के लिए कठिनाई स्तर वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक स्तर का होगा।

• सीटीईटी पेपर-1 को 5 खंडों में बांटा गया है: बाल विकास और शिक्षाशास्त्र, भाषा I और II, गणित और पर्यावरण विज्ञान।

• CTET पेपर -2 को 4 खंडों में विभाजित किया गया है: बाल विकास और शिक्षाशास्त्र, भाषा I और II, गणित / विज्ञान या सामाजिक अध्ययन। विकल्प गणित / विज्ञान और सामाजिक अध्ययन के बीच उपलब्ध होगा।

CTET सिलेबस 2021 पेपर I के लिए (कक्षा I से V के लिए)

I. बाल विकास और शिक्षाशास्त्र का सीटीईटी पाठ्यक्रम -30 प्रश्न:

CTET परीक्षा के लिए बाल विकास और शिक्षाशास्त्र कुछ सबसे महत्वपूर्ण विषय हैं। इसमें 30 प्रश्न शामिल हैं। प्रत्येक सही प्रतिक्रिया में 1 अंक होता है। यह 6 से 11 वर्ष के आयु समूहों के लिए प्रासंगिक शिक्षण और सीखने के शैक्षिक मनोविज्ञान पर केंद्रित होगा। छात्र इस खंड में अच्छा स्कोर कर सकते हैं यदि वे प्रत्येक विषय का विस्तार से अध्ययन करेंगे।

 

a) Child Development (Primary School Child) – 15 Questions
  • Concept of development and its relationship with learning
  • Principles of the development of children
  • Influence of Heredity & Environment
  • Socialization processes: Social world & children (Teacher, Parents, Peers)
  • Piaget, Kohlberg, and Vygotsky: constructs and critical perspectives
  • Concepts of child-centered and progressive education
  • Critical perspective of the construct of Intelligence
  • Multi-Dimensional Intelligence
  • Language & Thought
  • Gender as a social construct; gender roles, gender-bias and educational practice
  • Individual differences among learners, understanding differences based on diversity of language, caste, gender, community, religion, etc.
  • The distinction between Assessment for learning and assessment of learning;
  • School-Based Assessment, Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation: perspective and practice

b) Concept of Inclusive education and understanding children with special needs – 5 Questions
  • Addressing learners from diverse backgrounds including disadvantaged and deprived
  • Addressing the needs of children with learning difficulties, ‘impairment’ etc.
  • Addressing the Talented, Creative, Specially abled Learners

 

c) Learning and Pedagogy – 10 Questions
  • How children think and learn; how and why children ‘fail’ to achieve success in school performance.
  • Basic processes of teaching and learning; children’s strategies of learning; learning as a social activity; social context of learning.
  • Child as a problem solver and a ‘scientific investigator’ Alternative conceptions of learning in children, understanding children’s ‘errors’ as significant steps in the learning process.
  • Cognition & Emotions.
  • Motivation and learning.
  • Factors contributing to learning – personal & environmental.

 

CTET Syllabus 2021 For Language-I

Language 1 will focus on proficiencies related to the medium of instruction. This section is also scoring but it demands proper preparation. It consists of 30 questions and each question carries 1 mark.

a) Language Comprehension – 15 Questions
  • Reading unseen passages – two passages one prose or drama and one poem with questions on comprehension, inference, grammar, and verbal ability (Prose passage may be literary, scientific, narrative, or discursive)

 

b) Pedagogy of Language Development – 15 Questions
  • Learning and acquisition
  • Principles of Language Teaching
  • Role of listening and speaking; function of language and how children use it as a tool
  • A critical perspective on the role of grammar in learning a language for communicating ideas verbally and in written form
  • Challenges of teaching language in a diverse classroom; language difficulties, errors, and disorders
  • Language Skills
  • Evaluating language comprehension and proficiency: speaking, listening, reading and writing
  • Teaching-learning materials: Textbook, multi-media materials, multilingual resource of the classroom
  • Remedial Teaching

III. CTET Syllabus 2021 For Language-II

Language 2 is also based on basic concepts as Language 1. Language 2 will focus on the elements of language and comprehension abilities. It consists of 30 questions  & each question carries 1 mark.

 

a) Comprehension – 15 Questions
  • Two unseen prose passages (discursive or literary or narrative or scientific) with questions on comprehension, grammar, and verbal ability.

 

b) Pedagogy of Language Development – 15 Questions
  • Learning and acquisition
  • Principles of Language Teaching
  • Role of listening and speaking; function of language and how children use it as a tool
  • A critical perspective on the role of grammar in learning a language for communicating ideas verbally and in written form;
  • Challenges of teaching language in a diverse classroom; language difficulties, errors, and disorders.
  • Language Skills.
  • Evaluating language comprehension and proficiency: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
  • Teaching-learning materials: Textbook, multi-media materials, multilingual resource of the classroom.
  • Remedial Teaching.

 

IV CTET Syllabus 2021 Of Mathematics

The mathematics syllabus is lengthy in nature but the level of questions asked in the exam is moderate. Most questions are asked from the basic arithmetic from 1st to 5th std. It consists of 30 questions. Each correct response carries 1 mark.

Questions will be based on the topics prescribed in CTET 2021 syllabus. Most questions in the CTET exam are framed from the NCERT books of Class 1st to 5th.

V. CTET Syllabus 2021 For Environmental Studies

The Environment studies is a very scoring section. This section consists of 30 questions. Each correct response carries 1 mark. It will test the problem-solving abilities and pedagogical understanding of the students.

I. CTET Syllabus OF Child Development and Pedagogy-30 Questions
Child development and pedagogy are some of the most crucial subjects for the CTET exam. This is a very conceptual & theoretical subject. It analyzes the candidate’s conceptual understanding. The students can score well in this section if they will study each topic extensively. This section consists of 30 questions. Each correct response carries 1 mark.
