Eligibility As Per MPTRANSCO Vacancy 2025
- Assistant Engineer(Transmission) – Candidate must have passed full time regular B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE degree in “Electrical” / “Electrical & Electronics” Engineering from a AICTE / UGC recognized University / Institute as under.
- Law Officer – Candidate should have passed full time law graduation from a UGC recognized university with minimum 60% (or equivalent CGPA) and employees working in successor companies of M.P. State Electricity Board should have passed with minimum 55% (or equivalent CGPA).
- Junior Engineer (Transmission) – For SC, ST, Economically Weaker Section and Divyangjan candidates, who are natives of M.P., it is mandatory to have passed Regular Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE degree in “Electrical”/ “Electrical and Electronics” with minimum 55% (or equivalent CGPA).
- Junior Engineer (Civil) – It is mandatory to have passed Regular Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. or AMIE Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 65% (or equivalent CGPA) for non-resident/OBC category candidates of UR/M.P.
- Line Attendant And Sub Center Attendant – Passed 2/3 years ITI examination in Electrician trade (excluding apprentice training period) from Industrial Training Institute recognized by Central or State Government (NCVT/SCVT) / Private ITI. Or Candidates who have completed two years course in Electrical trade from ITIs of Shahdol, Ratlam, Rampura and Narmadanagar etc. established under Center of Excellence in ITI will also be eligible to apply.
- Surveyor Attendant –It is mandatory to pass the tenth examination from a board recognized by the Central or State Government. And pass the 2-year ITI examination in Surveyor trade (excluding apprentice training period) from an Industrial Training Institute/Institute/Private ITI recognized by the Central or State Government (NCVT/SCVT). Candidates who have completed two-year course in Surveyor trade from Shahdol, Ratlam, Rampura, Narmadanagar etc. ITI established under the Center of Excellence in ITI will also be eligible to apply.

Age Limit As Per MPTRANSCO Notification PDF

The Age limit for applying for Class II posts will be 21 years and the minimum age limit for Class III and IV posts will be 18 years.
The maximum age limit for applying for Class II, III and IV posts will be as follows:-
Other state male – 40 years.
Men and women of M.P. – 45 years.
Selection Process As Per MPTRANSCO Recruitment 2025 Notification
Computer-Based Test:
The CBT exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each
question carrying 1 mark. The syllabus for the CBT will be aligned with the prescribed curriculum relevant
to the post applied for. To qualify, candidates must secure at least 25% marks in the CBT.
Document Verification:
Shortlisted candidates from the written exam will be called for document
verification. Candidates must produce original certificates related to age, education, category, experience
(if any), and other essential qualifications.
Medical Examination:
Candidates shortlisted for Lineman/Sub-station Attendant/Surveyor Attendant will
be called for a Physical Eciency Test (PET). In this medical test, candidates must carry a 15 kg weight
and walk a distance of 1 kilometer within 10 minutes. This is a qualifying test to assess physical strength
and stamina.
